About Us

The Inland Empire Running Club is comprised of everyday people just like you. Running is our passion and we truly embrace the opportunity to build friendships with the folks we run with. We believe you have to have fun and we put that above all else. Yes, we are serious about running, but we have adopted a family style atmosphere and draw off the energy and encouragement of each other. We welcome people of all physical abilities and once you experience the joy of what we do, you will wish you had started much sooner.

IERC will be meeting Saturday mornings at 7:00 am at Butterfield Ranch Elementary School (6350 Mystic Canyon Drive, Chino Hills). Our main page provides more information. We have Pace Groups led by marathon experienced Pace Leaders. Regardless of your current athletic ability, we have a place for you. Come out and join us for an orientation and assessment.

Our Mission

  • Advance the joy and benefits of running

  • Provide the tools to reach your goal whether it is a 5k or a full marathon at a pace designed specifically to meet your fitness level in a fun and friendly atmosphere

  • Through our friendships with our fellow running clubs, we will strive to work together to promote running, not as a sole entity, but as a family member of the running community.

“Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must, just never give up.”
— Dean Karnazes
